The Golden Rule Part 2

Treating others the way you want to be treated is easy in theory, but what about when those people are reactive, unreasonable, or just plain difficult? Scripture offers surprisingly practical wisdom for exactly these situations. Proverbs warns against matching someone's reactivity while also reminding us that silence can imply agreement. Knowing who you are dealing with matters just as much as knowing how to respond. Even in the most frustrating interactions, there is often a grain of truth worth finding if we are willing to look. Romans 12 brings it all together with a clear call to overcome evil with good, leaving judgment to God while still maintaining healthy boundaries.
