NEC is launching a new caring ministry providing hope, community and resources to those in need.
If you are interested in serving on the team, please join us for a training session on either Sunday, June 22 at 11 a.m. or Wednesday, June 25 @ 7 p.m.
Volunteer training is Thursday, June 19 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Franklin Y. Contact Alysond@hockymca.org for more info.
BE A PART OF THE SUMMER LUNCH PROGRAM
Join the Hockomock Area YMCA and the communities of Milford, Bellingham and Plainville as we provide lunches for youth and families who rely on school food through a summer lunch program. The program not only supports those who may facing food insecurity, but also provides enrichment and social opportunities.
Volunteers are needed for two-hour shifts weekdays during summer vacation.
All ages are welcome to help (under 15 with an adult)
Great way to interact with families and the community.
