Do you like knowing the why's, when's, and how's? Most of Christianity is pretty easy to understand. God loves you, Christ died for you, the Holy Spirit is there to guide you. Easy! But there are also some crunchy bits. How was the Bible formed? Who wrote the book of Genesis? What was Jesus' theology? Is the church the same now as it was in Paul's time? If you want to explore the deeper parts of the faith, join us on Sunday mornings at 10:30am in Big Kidz Zone for a new, reimagined, and ongoing WICKED SMAAHT!

Women’s Christmas Brunch & Devotion

Escape the holiday madness and join the Women's Ministry team for a morning of quiet, reflection time followed by brunch. You pack so many things on your calendar this month, you deserve time to rest and be still and be in the presence of God. We hope you join us.

The Winter Coat Giveaway is scheduled for Saturday, December 13 from 9 to noon at Franklin UMC, 82 West Central Street, Franklin.

Come pick out a free coat and other winter clothing.

Our Caring Meals Team shows love in one of the most practical ways possible—by bringing a warm meal when life gets overwhelming. Whether someone just welcomed a new baby, is recovering from surgery, navigating illness, grieving a loss, or simply going through a tough season, we step in with comfort, kindness, and good food.
Homemade, store-bought, or even a favorite takeout pick-up all make a difference. You sign up only when it works for you.

Volunteer at a temporary pop-up warming shelter when temps hit 20 & below from 9:30pm - 7am.

MISSION TRIP TO NORTH CAROLINA

Set for April 2026

In April 2026, a team from NEC will travel to North Carolina to help rebuild communities impacted by natural disasters. This trip is about more than repairs — it’s about teamwork, sharing Jesus through action and daily devotion, and experiencing a faith-deepening adventure that will change the way you see God at work in the world.

It’s also one powerful way we live out our mission to be a blessing beyond our walls.

Celebrate Recovery covers a wide range of life's "hurts, habits, and hang-ups," including various addictions (alcohol, drugs, sex, gambling), co-dependency, low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, anger issues, grief, abuse, perfectionism, and dysfunctional family patterns. The program uses a biblically-based, Christ-centered approach, combining the 12 steps of recovery with the 8 Beatitudes to provide a supportive community where individuals can find healing and personal growth by accepting responsibility for their struggles.
