Resources for Small Group Leaders
NEC’s small groups ministry exists to create gospel-centered communities where people are known, loved, and encouraged to grow as disciples of Jesus. Together we gather to share life, study God’s Word, pray, and support one another—so that we might live out the love of Christ in our everyday lives.
““Small groups are not a program of the church; they are the church.” ”

Groups who do stuff together, grow together
Mark your calendars for our next Family Dinner Night — Saturday, November 15 at 5:30 p.m.! This month’s potluck-style gathering (open to everyone!) is being lovingly hosted by our Tuesday morning Circle Small Group — thank you, Joy, Linda, and Roseline, for setting the table for us! These dinners are more than shared meals — they’re moments where laughter, conversation, and connection remind us that faith grows best in community.
We’d love for your small group to host one in the future! It’s simple and fun:
Pick a Saturday and a theme (Italian night, Valentine’s dinner, chili cookoff — get creative!)
Handle set-up and take-down
Add a fun touch if you’d like — an icebreaker, a short reflection, a game — whatever fits your group’s personality
Hosting is a beautiful way for your group to serve together and help create space where belonging can take root. If you’re interested in hosting an upcoming dinner, just email me — we’ll get you on the calendar!
