The God Who Shows Up: Moses parts the sea

Water is one of the most significant symbols in Scripture, and nowhere is that more clear than in the story of Moses and the Red Sea. When Pharaoh's army cornered the Israelites with nowhere to go, fear took over quickly. Moses spoke words of faith to the people before he even knew what God was going to do, drawing on everything he had already seen God accomplish. God then parted the sea, echoing the language of creation itself, and delivered His people in a way no one could have anticipated. This moment was not just a rescue. It was a declaration of who God is. He plans with thoughtful consideration, His guidance is constant, and His ultimate purpose is to be known. Whatever season you are in right now, whether it feels like dry ground or deep water, God is present and He has not forgotten you. The same God who showed up at the Red Sea is the same God who shows up today.
