We are glad you are here! If you are curious about what types of opportunities await you, this page is a great place to start. From weekend service programs for kids, weekly gatherings for teens, small groups, bible studies and mission trips, you can discover your passion for volunteering, making friends and/or growing your faith. For every age
kids
Discover the fun that awaits our youngest attendees (birth through 5th grade). Our Kids Zone volunteers engage kids through songs, bible stories, crafts, and activities. Monthly themes focus on important values such as kindness, compassion & gratitude. Kids Zone is open during 9 a.m. services only. This summer it will be open during our summer service at 10 a.m.
Teens
Our youth program combines all teens’ favorite things: food and crazy games. And we know life as a teen has its challenges. Our weekly programs are designed to make faith relevant and build lifelong friendships.
Worship Night: Mid-week recharge for all
This is the mid-week break you need. If you love the music at NEC and crave a reprieve from the daily grind, you should be here. Join us the 2nd Wednesday of every month for Worship Night - an evening of LOTS of great music, prayer, scripture and reset. It’s an hour that will make the rest of your week SO much better. 2nd Wednesday of the month, 7 - 8 p.m.
men & women’s ministries
Our small groups are centered on the idea that life together is better. It makes us grow and get stronger. It gives us identity and a face in the crowd. It is the friend-making, boredom-shaking, life-changing engine of the church.
From weekly bible studies to monthly mom groups or Men’s Monday night groups, this is the place to go deeper and create community. Browse some of our active groups and if you have questions, please email smallgroups@nechapel.org.

weekend services
Services are held on Sundays at 9 & 10:30 a.m. Take a seat wherever you want. Bring your coffee with you. There is a timely and meaningful message, as well as engaging music and videos. Our music and related content come from a variety of secular and Christian sources and reflect traditional as well as contemporary styles. You can watch the message from home as well - we stream only part of our services every Sunday morning.

Thanks for checking us out! NEC is a place for people who may have given up on church but not on God. If you want to learn more about our beginnings (we’ve been in Franklin for 20 years) and our mission (which started as a conversation between friends), please attend our next ‘Get to Know NEC session.’

The Journey is what we call our collection of small groups designed to help people at every stage of their faith. Start with Journey 101 - a new group begins the second Sunday of every odd-numbered month.
READY to serve: VOLUNTEER
You want to lean in more. We’re happy to oblige. Join a volunteer or small group. There are a variety of ways you can volunteer, whether it be on a Sunday morning or during the week, at NEC or out in the community. Its one of the best way to meet other!
NEED Prayer?
Prayer Team members are available to pray with people before, during and after services. We also meet on a monthly basis to pray for individuals, groups and leaders associated with building the community of NEC.
