Next Steps

we make it easy to discover what’s next

You’ve attended a few services (virtually or in person) and you’re ready to lean in a bit more. What’s next?

Perhaps you want to learn more about NEC, your faith or you’d like to join a volunteer team or small group.

Our Guest Services team is happy to assist whether during service at our Guest Services booth or our virtual one found below.

To learn about taking the next steps, explore some options below or email our Next Steps Coordinator Kim Bradshaw.

GET TO KNOW NEC

yOU’RE INVITED TO THE NEXT SESSION

If you want to learn more about our beginnings (we’ve been in Franklin for 20 years) and our mission (which started as a conversations between friends who wanted to create a different kind of church), please attend our next ‘Getting to Know NEC session,’ held after second service the first Sunday of the month. Its an informal gathering where you can meet members of our team and get a behind-the-scenes look at all things NEC.

VOLUNTEER

SERVE AT nec AND BEYOND

We believe that God created us as unique individuals who are given different temperaments, spiritual gifts, and experiences so that we can serve others. There are a variety of ways you can volunteer, whether it be on a Sunday morning or during the week, at NEC or out in the community.

JOIN A SMALL GROUP

GROW IN COMMUNITY & FAITH

We want to give you an opportunity to connect. Whether you’re looking for a mom-to-mom’s group, some guys to go fishing with, or an in-depth Bible study, you’ll find folks just like you here at NEC.

NEED HELP?

Resources for assistance

Our trained and compassionate volunteers are here to help. We provide resources that address the real needs of people who come to us for spiritual guidance, emotional support and day-to-day needs. From caring meals to home projects and emotional support, NEC wants to be a blessing to all.
