LEANING INTO OUR PURPOSE
It's a way of life. Helping those in need. It's the way God designed us - to bring out the best in each other and to make a difference when or however we can. During the season of sharing, New England Chapel is leaning into that purpose by partnering with community members and putting our faith in action. See below on ways you can add meaning, hope and love in the lives of many as we close out 2023.

Franklin food pantry
275 Bags of Betty Crocker Sugar Cookies Needed
Each year, we kick off our Season of Sharing in support of the Franklin Food Pantry.
This organization works to alleviate food insecurity and compassionately empower our community through resources and collaboration. More families count on them during the holidays and winter months as they stretch their dollars to cover increased heat and electricity costs.
They have asked NEC to collect 275 packages of Betty Crocker Sugar Cookie Mix 17.5 onces. Donations can be placed in the box in the foyer through the October 22.
UPDATE! We closed this campaign early to begin an urgent need. Within ONE DAY, we reached over 200 bags. THANK YOU!
GIVE THANKS, GIVE FOOD
Collection is 10/29 - 11/19
As we approach the season of gratitude and giving, we are thrilled to announce our annual Thanksgiving Food Drive! Please join us as we collect Thanksgiving meals for 75-80 families in need.
Here is how you can make a difference:
Donate: Consider buying all the items on the list (available at NEC or using the button below) or partner up with a friend. Bring non-perishable items and gift cards to NEC starting Oct. 29th and place in the box by the Thanksgiving table in the hallway. Please hold off on bringing the perishable items until Nov. 19th.
Volunteer: We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers on November 18th for food sorting & then on the 19th for packing and delivery. Please sign up at the table before/after service starting Oct. 29th.

sharing Christmas Joy
Collection is 11/26- 12/10
Our Season of Sharing continues as we provide Christmas gifts for children through NEC's partnership with Walking in Light and for incarcerated teens through our partnership with Straight Ahead Ministries and minor refugee children in partnership with Bethany Christian Services.
Stop by the tables in the hallway TBD to sponsor a child for Christmas. Together we can make their Christmas brighter! For more information, contact dena@nechapel.org
